Team Trivia
Team Trivia

Our valiant team (shown above) did our best but sometimes you are asked stuff you just don't know or associate correctly. Right away I acknowledge that Hilaire had the right answer to the final but I went a different direction on it. In the final calculations, it didn't matter as we were out of the running, but it was insult on top of injury as they say.

The game also was more up our alley than normal. Heavily geography based, which normally I would love to see. For a couple of weeks now, I feel I haven't been making decent connections or associations, which I seriously blame on drinking a 32 oz smoothie before the game the past two weeks. Being alert and making associations can easily be derailed by food induced brain fog.

We were in 3rd at this point with 30 points. Perfect was 34 points, which the leader had.

Sitting in 5th place. Ugh. If we get the final AND everyone else misses it or bets nothing, we could win. Not likely ....

Final Round:

Science

Rank the following substances from highest to lowest boing point: Propane, Sulfur, Isopropyl alcohol and blood. Hilaire know this but I talked here out of the right answer .... for some reason I was thinking the solid component in blood would not totally evaporate before sulfur ... which shows how off I was in my thinking ... any solid > liquid > gas

A: Blood, Sulfur, Iso, Propane. Wrong. Sorry Hil. Correct: Sulfur, Blood, Iso, Propane.

We vow to come back stronger and wiser (and less foggy next time!)
