By the end of August, my goal is to lift ....

Bench = 315

Squat = 405

Deadlift = 405

Totals = 1125

The plates are respectful, imo. Putting on 3 plates for bench and 4 for the others for an older dude like me who is not juicing is ok by me. But I need to pick it up. My current totals is probably like 990 or 1000 lbs, where I am closest to goal with bench and furthest from squat.

Also, given I am trying to get my 5k running times down to the 25 min mark, I need to crack the code on running that 5k while getting stronger on all these lifts. I have been using the 5/3/1 training program. Here is a link if you are not familiar with the program: https://liftvault.com/programs/powerlifting/jim-wendlers-531-spreadsheet/

I am also cutting back on carbs which has made me feel/seem weaker. So, if anyone has suggestions on a program to get these lifts up while not killing my cardio for running, I am wide open to hear it. Otherwise, it will be progressive loading for 3 out of 4 weeks and then a deload week.

I am also lifting solo, so I never really push to failure. Maybe I should get a partner here to help. Again, not sure.

Also -- I have not been doing core ...... at all. It seems this might be a missing link in the training for both lifting and running.

Of all the goals I have, the physical 5k and lifting goals might be the harder ones, along with nailing the 3 songs on the guitar.
